Care

Light

Set the plant in a location with bright, indirect sunlight. Find a position near a window where the sun’s rays never actually touch the foliage. While it’s normal for older leaves to yellow, if this happens to several leaves at the same time, the plant may be getting too much light. On the other hand, if the stems are long and leggy with several inches between leaves, the plant probably isn’t getting enough light.

Watering

Epipremnum may be grown in soil or just in water. Plants that live in soil should be watered when half of the soil is dry. As with most plants, yellow leaves indicate over-watering, and brown leaves indicate under-watering. You can tell when a Epipremnum needs water because its leaves will appear wilted. When watered, the plant will reward you with a perky appearance.

Soil

Epipremnum likes rich, loose potting soil that will drain well but is still high in organic matter. They can grow in 100 percent sphagnum peat moss.

Humidity

Normal room humidity will do but prefers humid conditions if possible.

Temperature

Average room temperatures are perfect for growing Epipremnum Pinnatum, so keep even temperatures of between 65°F and 80°F (18°C — 27°C).

Fertilizing

We know that the Epipremnum Pinnatum can grow quite quickly, so you’d expect it to require a lot of fertilizer, but this is not the case.Epipremnum doesn’t require a lot of it, not even in the growing period. During the spring and summer, its growing period, you should fertilize the Epipremnum Pinnatum about once per month, and during the dormancy period, fall and winter, you shouldn’t fertilize the Epipremnum at all. During this time its resting and preparing for the next growing period.
