Light for Succulents

Succulents need proper exposure to bright indirect sunlight. Most succulents do best under indirect sunlight because direct exposure to the scorching sun most times causes sunburns on their leaves. The hot sun is also known to dry the soil faster; hence, it is highly discouraged.
Direct sunlight exposure is possible, although it needs to be in moderation. A succulent can be put in direct sunlight, preferably in the morning hours when the rays are gentle.
Alternatively, some indoor succulents are lit up by the use of fluorescent bulbs. The high-output is the best for this purpose and is more energy-efficient, less bulky, and offers better lighting as compared to the incandescent type.
