Watering succulent plants

The watering of a succulent is not as demanding as most plants are. Succulents are watered in accordance with the season. Mostly during the hot and warmer seasons of spring and summer. However, it should only be done when the soil is dry by a technique known as the soak and dry method. Most of the water application is made by hand with the use of the squeeze bottle for a smaller succulent or a larger watering pot for the larger types.
But the use of spray bottles is highly discouraged as this does not supplement the roots with the required amount needed for their growth. But they may be used to spray water on propagated leaves daily. Succulents grown outdoors are watered more frequently as compared to the ones housed indoors.
